English: Clinton Joseph Davisson (left; 1881-1958) and Lester Halbert Germer (right; 1896-1971) in 1927, physicists who performed the davisson-Germer experiment in 1923-1927 at Bell Labs, that demonstrated the wave nature of matter theorized by Louis de Broglie in 1924.

The Online Books record of copyright renewals for Electronics lists no renewals. Therefore it was not renewed and is in the public domain
